Snowing in Norman

So today there is snow in Norman, Oklahoma today! Molly does not like it at all and tries to avoid touching it at all costs!

So lets get caught up on everything that has been happening....

Molly is doing well since her surgery and has not scratched her stitches in fear that the cone will go on her again. She has to go back on the 19th for a check up but I am sure everything will be fine!

Mark and I attended the KU vs OU basketball game where OU upset Kansas! We missed the intro video again which we have been trying to see for the past three times...hopefully for the Baylor game. The fans were out in full force on Saturday and there was a lot of trash talk but nothing can compare to what we saw during halftime....

Dancing through the Ages

After watching that clip you should understand why it was so bad.

Mark and I are going to do our taxes tonight so we can hopefully get some money back but knowing my luck I will have to pay.

Molly's Surgery

Today Mark and I dropped off Molly at 7:30 am for her surgery. She is getting a few things done today so of course I worry...

Sometimes I think she is trying to get a close as possible to my face.

I haven't blogged in a few days so I will catch everyone up on this weekend! First we went to a party at my co-workers house on Friday night. One of my co-workers wife is a police officer so by the end of the night I was learning self-defense which hopefully I will never have to use! I actually woke up sore the next day... I guess I need to go to the gym more.

On Saturday Mark had to work and I spent the day trying to switch banks which was not successful. I hate switching over banks but Bank of America is costing us more money in fees every month. Hopefully I will be able to switch on Saturday when I have time off. After the bank it was time for some QT with Molly. We headed to the dog park which I was worried about because of pitbulls but to my surprise the dog park is completely different on Saturday mornings. There is no barking or biting, all the dogs get along great...this is my kind of dog park!

After Mark got home we headed to the K-State vs. OU men's basketball game. We got tickets from my friend at OU who always gives us amazing seats. We are going to another game this weekend vs. Kansas. The game was kind of boring in the middle but picked up at the end when OU made a comeback but it was not enough to beat K-State. After the game we decided to try a local italian restaurant on Main Street. It was so good! We loved the food and prices!

Saturday night was ended with a stop at my neighbors house for game night. We didn't stay long because Molly had been locked up in the kennel since the basketball game.

Sunday was an early morning because I dragged Mark out of bed to take Molly to the park. She was so happy! We decided it was time to leave when Molly laid down at the dog park which was a first. We had to go to the story because Mark was going to make cupcakes for the Super Bowl party that night at work. The cupcakes were a big hit...even if they are two different colors because we ran out of frosting!

We had a very busy weekend so it was nice to relax last night and spoil Molly before her surgery today! She will be done by the time I am out of work and I can't wait to pick her up. The only thing Mark is looking forward to is seeing her on medication....

Well back to work until later today!

What a day....

So today started off when I woke up sweating. It was 83 degrees in the apartment! So we had to open up the windows and turn off the heat. I am not sure what is going on but I don't want that heat bill next month.

After cooling down the apartment I noticed I had a shadow named Molly. She followed me everywhere and even watched me shower. This is very odd behavior for her so I took her outside to see if she needed to go then as soon as she came inside she puked. Thanks....

So I was late to work this morning of course but it is Friday and we have a big weekend planned. Mark and I are going to one of my co-workers house tonight for a party then we have the K-State vs OU men's basketball game on Saturday. My boss is having everyone over to our office lounge for the Super Bowl and Mark has decided to bring cupcakes. He wants to make really fancy ones that look difficult so we will see how that goes.

I have to get back to work now because I need to finish Cassie's program and of course my actually work....until next time!

Dave Ramsey

Well tomorrow is payday so tonight Mark and I have to sit down and follow the Dave Ramsey book. So far it has been pretty easy and we haven't really seen any changes but who knows what this month holds.

Today my search for a rental car in Colorado continues. It is very hard to find a rental car on a mountain in Crested Butte, CO but I am determined to find something. Along with visiting the University of Colorado and Denver I have now added the Mountain West Conference which is located in Denver. It is going to be a relaxing ski trip followed by two crazy days trying to fit all the clients into one day.

I do not have any fun pictures today for you because it has been pretty busy in the office! I will try to take some tonight as I am sure Mark will be thrilled to talk about money tonight!

She is seriously so cute.....she has way to many toys!

Gifts from Colorado!

Today while at work I received a package from University of Colorado!

We did a website for them a month ago and it was a long process but they are very happy with the final outcome and so are we!!

So I received a mole skin journal and a Nike pullover:

I love them both! I am so excited to wear them in Colorado in March. Mark and I are going to be traveling to Colorado with his family for a few days to ski...I am also going to make a work trip out of it by visiting a few clients.

When I got home from work I tried to take Molly to the dog park but I am official done with that! The dogs are way to aggressive and I am way to over protective. Since she had a horrible experience at the dog boarding in Texas we have been very concerned about her getting hurt again. The pitbulls at the dog park are so mean and their owners do nothing to stop them. It makes me so angry!

Morning Thoughts.

After thinking about what happened last night with the "white buffalo" couple I would like to move to a safer neighborhood that I don't have to be scared to take Molly on a walk but we will have to see what happens in May.

Today I am working on creating a program for my best friends wedding in June. Since it will be hot in Ohio at the end of June she has decided she wants a program that will also double as a fan. I am trying to recreate her inviation the best I can so we will see how this goes....

For those of you who don't know Cassie, her father had a stroke at the beginning of the month and has just returned home this week. It is very hard for him to adjust to his new life because he is not able to do the same activities. He is going to rehab daily and his wife has taken the semester off from teaching to care for him. Good news is he will be able to give his daughter away in June at her wedding...

Great White Buffalo

When I got home from work Molly was acting crazy so I decided it was time to go for a walk to get all of her energy out. As we started walking down the street a white car pulled over and hooked their horn...I thought they were odd so I kept walking. Well this car did not get the hint and continued to follow me until I finally stopped. Then the passenger in the car asked if I had seen the "white buffalo in the area"? They wanted to show me a picture on their cell phone so this is the point where I decided we needed to get out of here! Molly and I ran back to the condo which consisted mostly of me telling Molly to stop biting the leash....she thinks it is a chew toy.

Mark came home from work ready to make my favorite pasta! It called Bowl Licking Pasta...I know we are very clever with names.

Now it is time to relax and play with Molly until she passes out for the night!
